Over the years, I’ve found there a few key questions that really get to the heart of the matter when conducting user interviews or usability testing. I’ve honed them down and created a simple, 1-page discussion guide you can use for most research studies. It has a quick intro, interview questions, task phrasing questions, AND all those little things you need to say to keep participants talking without saying all those things you shouldn’t say (like, “Is this easy to use?” 😧 or, “Would you buy this?” 🙄)
